We only collect the information necessary to operate our matching platform safely:

  • Account Details: Your name, email address, and phone number for sign-in and communication.
  • Scholar Profiles (Job Seekers):Full name, father's name, date of birth, marital status, location (Province/City), and detailed religious education records (Hifz, Dars-e-Nizami, Mufti courses, Ijazah, etc.).
  • Employer Profiles: Organization name, type, description, location, and official contact details.
  • Media Samples: Optional audio or video files (e.g., Quran recitation, Khutba) you choose to upload to showcase your skills.
  • Verification Documents:Optional uploads (e.g., Sanad certificates, Madrasa ID cards, Organization registration proofs) submitted solely for the purpose of earning a "Verified" badge.
  • Automated Data: Basic device/browser information and cookies to ensure the platform functions securely.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

For the safety and privacy of our users, Islamic Jobs does NOT collect or store:

  • National Identity Card numbers (CNIC) or any government-issued ID numbers.
  • Passport numbers (unless explicitly and voluntarily added to a profile, though we strongly advise against sharing such sensitive data publicly).
  • Bank account details.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and display public profiles and job listings.
  • To match Job Seekers with relevant Employer job postings (including our automated smart match notifications).
  • To verify credentials safely when a user applies for the "Verified" badge (viewed only by our internal admin team).
  • To communicate platform updates, application statuses, and security alerts.
  • To prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of the platform.

We strictly prohibit the sale, trading, or renting of your personal data to any third-party marketers.

4. Who Can See Your Information?

Public Visibility: Basic profile details (Name, Category, City, Education summary) are visible to anyone browsing the platform.

Privacy of Contact Info: To protect our scholars from spam and harassment, direct contact details (Phone/WhatsApp) are NOT displayed on public profile pages. Contact information is only shared with an Employer when a Job Seeker actively applies to their specific job posting.

Admin Access: Our internal administration team can view verification documents and account data strictly for moderation, support, and safety enforcement.

5. Data Storage & Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access. While no internet transmission is 100% secure, we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

You retain full control over your profile. You can edit or delete your profile information directly from your dashboard. If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at support@islamicjobz.com. We will process your request and remove your data from our active servers within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our platform evolves. We will notify users of any significant changes by posting the new Policy on this page with an updated "Effective Date". Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
